Data Deletion
You can permanently delete your Astrosimple account and all associated data at any time. Deletion removes your account, sign-in identity, stored birth profiles, generated charts and interpretations, chat history, and subscription records from our servers.
Option 1: Delete from the app
- Open Astrosimple and go to the Settings tab.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion. Your account and data are removed immediately.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account and request deletion. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by reply.
Signed in with TikTok, Google, Apple, or X?
Deleting your Astrosimple account removes the data we received from your sign-in provider (name, email, avatar) along with everything else. You may additionally revoke Astrosimple's access in your provider's account settings — for TikTok: Profile → Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions.
What is not deleted
Your subscription is managed by Apple. Deleting your account does not cancel an active App Store subscription — manage it in your Apple ID settings. Anonymized error reports already sent to our crash-monitoring service expire automatically per its retention policy. To prevent abuse of free-tier limits, a one-way cryptographic hash of your email address (not reversible to identify you) may be retained for up to 14 days after deletion, then purged automatically.
